Feeling a little bummed at my weight gain. I've been behaving very well with my eating habits, & haven't missed a day of pool therapy since I re-started it. But I'm quite sore from our weather change to much cooler temps, so maybe the gain has something to do with the weather? Snow is expected in our valley by Thanksgiving, & I can definitely feel this in every fiber of my body. Still adjusting back to having pool therapy, & going 3 times a week vs. 4. I'm going to the Y earlier now too, having joined a M-W-F exercise group that meets from 11AM to Noon. I arrive around 11:30, earliest I can wake up & get ready, then make the 30+ minute ride into the city. For me, just getting showered & dressed is often quite a workout, when my arthritis, tendonitis, fibro, etc. are flaring up. But I know I have to do this, & I WILL NEVER, EVER GIVE UP! I've finally completed a full year of our Low Cal & Low Carb dinner menus, but still need to edit & tweek things a bit, & fully coordinate between the Menu, the Recipes & the Grocery List. When finished, it will be a very practical & effective tool for people who want to eat healthy, & lose weight sensibly & keep it off permanently. I'm including nutrition info with each recipe, which also takes time to calculate when it's not already provided or is inaccurate as given. I know very well how deceptive the scale can be, & that if I keep at it, the numbers will keep coming down. It's just very hard to deal with sometimes, when you've done your best but that blasted scale says you've gained weight instead of losing!
240.6 lb Lost so far: 24.4 lb.    Still to go: 20.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.4 lb a week

The scale is just an evaluation tool. It doesn't always show an accurate overall picture. You're focused and doing the right stuff. Maybe for a while look at a different evaluation tool (tape measure, pain levels, etc?) until the scale comes back in line. Hang in there...

I agree with Newnormal.. I hate the scale as much as much as anyone. But it is just a tool, how you feel physically and mentally should be a factor taken into account. Besides, take any weight gain and turn into a motivator to refocus and get back on track. 👍
