Here's another suggestion: over here in UK, there's an organisation called Nexus, there might be something similar near you? It's a society for singles, where groups are formed locally and get together regularly for social occasions. They do various activities depending on the interests of people in the group. Individual group members take responsibility for organising events, but there's no obligation to organise anything yourself, you can just join in if you want. Also no obligation to join in with activities that don't interest you. It's not about dating, but it is a good way of meeting people, and sometimes results in relationships.

Do that! Didn't realise you were in Wales. I have lots of relatives over there. My Dad was Welsh. 

My gramma was from the UK and Welsh! 

Well my Grandad's brother went to Texas a long long time ago, and was never heard from again, so I may have some relatives there as well, but I'll probably never know! 

yeah in Wales - summer here has been a non event - raining outside now - proper Welsh weather - seems like November 

saying that though - have made some progress with the social life - me and a friend are going to visit a health club in the next few nights - gym, swimming pool - racquets - all that sort of stuff - I used to go there a fews years ago but it is quite expensive there.
