9st 7.5lb (no WW as away on hol) That awkward moment when you discover that all the cycling and walking you did all holiday *didn't* compensate for all that untracked eating!! 4.5lb on, ouch. I know if I had tracked my food it would have been a very different story but I did make a conscious decision not to, just to relax and not think about that side of things - and this is the result! We're going for a big breakfast today (the first day home from holiday is always a bit indulgent to help cope with the mourning process!) and then I need to get right back on it. There was genuinely a little oh-so-optimistic part of me that thought today's weigh in might actually be ok! But I was under my goal so I suppose at least that was some wiggle room, and it may be some short term gain that might fall away a bit next week after a more normal week...or that might be that optimistic soul peeking out again there!
133.5 lb Lost so far: 45.5 lb.    Still to go: 1.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 3.9 lb a week

you did right, holidays are for relaxing, not counting calories. And first day back home still counts as holidays!!! You'll get back on track and lose that gain in no time :-)

Aww thank you :-) Btw if you want to link up on fitbit I'm not much on challenges but an encouraging compatriot as you'll easily beat me on the podium most weeks as I only scrape in 7k most days! You can search for me under my name if you want to, which I think you know on bounts?

I go back and forth on holiday eating. We tend to give ourselves permission to eat anything we want and gain. I've been on holiday, moderated my eating, got plenty of walking in and lost weight (and had fun). The problem comes when you start doing that for every event (bbq, school functions, xmas, etc.). Don't know if there's a wrong or right way. If I were in Paris or Italy, I would probably eat, drink and be merry. When I go the beach, I tend to stay on plan as much as I can. Some of that weight you gained is probably water. Great job on all the exercise!

Well I've tried to add you as a friend on Fitbit, but it's only searching people in my contacts or email addresses. I'm normally clever at things like this but it's got the better of me !!!!! Poooooh. I went on the treadmill when I got home, to do my 30 mins activity coz I thought you'd be able to see me !!!!!

I've just done it (I think!!). It's a bit more complicated than my Jawbone Up was. Don't be jealous of all my steps today, I've still gone over my calories 😀
