If you were eatting your 12-15grams of net carbs/foundation veggies you would not need to do that. Also consider adding MIM's into your diet they are full of fiber. And its the lack of fiber that is giving you your troubles. oh also water intake as well is just as important. Hopefully you'll feel better but if you start haveing to take laxitives it also will cause some bloating.

If I can add my 2 cents - I take a magnesium supplement - 150mg to 200mg per day - they are inexpensive and there is something about magnesium which I can't remember which helps to regulate things. I found myself very constipated when I started Atkins and the magnesium really works for me as long as I take it daily. I also take 1,000 mg of fish oil and I believe that also helps. Talk to a pharmacist or one of the sales people in a health food store, or google it. Hope this helps. When I first started Atkins I was diligent with the water and veggies but it wasn't enough. A lot of Atkins followers suffer (in silence) about this problem. Good luck.
