Frustrating. Hang in there. Have you considered that maybe you're gaining muscle, maybe record some body measurements and track them? Nice job on your final, take those 3 days off and enjoy!

I know how frustrating this is. For the past 4 weeks I went from 153 to 151 back to 153 down back to 152. It makes me think I am not actually progressing. This is just a sign we need to really look at what we are eating. Typically I get lazy tracking my foods after work. last night I was so hungry before MMA that I ate some snacks. When I got home I decided to log EVERYTHING I ate..guess what I realized... I was at like 70-80g CARBS!?!?!? I wanted to stick to 50 and below. Really look and track what you put into your body for a few days. You may realize you are eating a little too much of something. For me I didn't need to eat the piece of Matzo with butter and jam..and the extra chocolate square!!! Little things make a difference :)

Argh - I also get frustrated when I know I have stayed on track with my plan. I usually just get angry and then eventually the "Idiot Box" moves down a bit!

Dear Rockiesfan, Ok honey..meant with love...this ain't rocket science ...its simple physics...we have to eat fewer calories than we expend...and we lose weight...I had been thin all my life and then in the past couple of years had begun to really struggle with about 8 lbs...finally used this website to write down a food plan the night before, keep it under 1000 calories, walk 3 miles everyday minimum and lift weights 3 times a week and WA LA...AM THIN AGAIN..TOOK ABOUT 2 MONTHS..years ago I had a Weight Watchers counselor tell me..stop focusing on the big scale..focus on weighing and measuring your foot and DO NOT DEVIATE and the weight will come off...or you can reach out across internet land and smack the crap out of me for being unkind..but its what finally worked for me...everyday I would get up and say ok..today's it gonna be different and everyday I would justify overeating...not for the past two months... Ok..best and good luck.. your posts are very clever...counting calories always works ...ALWAYS... Dianne :)

I am in the same boat you are in, Rockiefan ... same 2-3 pounds ... up/down/up/down. You will get it back - could be salt/water - who knows. Better than 20/30, right? Been there.

You have a great weekend too :-)

I did that and I had to take my calories down lower because I'm not exercising as much as I did. I sit at a desk all day, which sounds ideal, but it's not when it comes to health and weight. I would increase your exercise, if you can (the weather is horrible here, so I haven't done much exercise-wise) and decrease calories a bit. Watch your fat content and salt intake.
