A day and a half of eating nothing but restaurant food while out of town meeting with an old friend. My choices of what to eat were not bad, but the quantities were larger than I would have eaten if at home, and the salt and refined carb content was way higher. My fingers and feet feel stiff, so I know it is water weight right now. Well, back to the straight and narrow plus drinking loads of water today, and things should be back under control. The really interesting thing is that my taste buds are evolving - I was not (at first anyway) looking at the high-fat, high-carb items on the menus. The "healthier" choices were actually appealing! This morning however, while not "craving" carbs, they certainly did pass through my mind.... How quickly we can revert to our bad habits is kinda' scary. Hope everyone has a good day!!!
