Gained weight on 1746 kcals and 140Gms of carbs. I'm sure it is because I didn't measure the potatoe salad, and I drank ovaltine with their whole milk when I craved chocolate after an argument with my husband. I should have talked it out, exercised, or prayed about it instead. I did pray, actually... after the ovaltine. I've got to learn to implement my own plan.
230.0 lb Lost so far: 5.4 lb.    Still to go: 100.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Baby steps right? Admitting you should've done better is a great step. At least you're acknowledging your shortcomings. But I always feel it takes "2 to argue" right? He had a part in it as well. Keep moving forward and reevaluating your process. Small changes over time lead to big results. 🤝👏

You should ok into trying weight watchers, I used this app for years and always felt like a failure and that I couldn’t get ahead. My sister in law told me about weight watchers and they make losing weight so simple! I joined back in March and have already lost 30 pounds. They just teach you how to balance the food you love and have coaches that help. It’s $10 a month but for what I’ve lost and how they do everything it’s 100% worth it. I no longer feel guilty, I don’t have to worry about being super strict and I’m still losing weight. My husband joins too and he’s lost 25 pounds. So together we’ve lost 58 pounds in just 3 months. I’m not trying to sell you anything, but just I remember feeling so frustrated just like you.

I can relate! I get upset and WHAMO myself. Progress not perfection as they say! Little by little, you're still getting it done!
