I feel really discouraged. I've been on this keto diet program for a total of three days and this is the result. I'm not giving up yet though. My goal is to work harder on my weight loss, and not go backwards.
301.0 lb Lost so far: 46.8 lb.    Still to go: 141.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 4.7 lb a week

i hear you 🌷Are you logging your food? youre doing Keto, right? so 50 net carbs a day? that's what I've been doing, too. basically meat and non-starchy veggies. are you combining with calorie restriction or nah? your workout sounds intense! I mean this with all sincerity-- just, keep going dear one. we're all at different stages and it's still a daily thing to make good choices and get exercise. regardless of what the scale says. you are loved, you are cherished. plan your meals and keep going!!! 👊

Small steps to start and build a great foundation to build upon.

Hang in there, girl. The struggle is real. Make sure that, even though it’s Keto, you’re not eating too many calories. Keto or not, if you over do it by eating too many calories a day without exercising, you will gain weight. Look up information on calorie deficit. Set a goal of how many calories a day are right for you. Take a walk everyday and lift weights. Do a “clean” Keto diet not a “dirty” Keto diet. Inform yourself about the differences between clean vs dirty Keto diets. WEIGHT YOURSELF ONCE A WEEK NOT ONCE A DAY !!! Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

CICO matters too. Are you in a deficit?

Morgan, whatever you were doing before keto was working really well for you. If I were you, I’d go back to what you know works. Look at how far you’ve gotten.

When I did keto I was eating too many calories, be careful with that. Now I’m just tracking calories and I am way better now.

I did keto for three weeks, the first 2 days were okay day 4th I felt miserable because I wanted to eat carbs. I got pretty cranky and felt defeated. I was in ketosis . Then I gave in by eating a gummy worm, I instantly regret it because I end up eating the whole bag. Yes I got upset with myself I tried again the first week was rough I went again into keto I forced myself to eat things I didn’t it took me a week to finally get use to it the first week I consider it trial the rest of the 3 weeks I stayed consistent and I lost so much weight . And had energy, but I had to know my body and what it needed so I listen to it. I’m back on a keto diet to continue with my weight loss just remember everyone is different and it is difficult and it’s okay to give in just get back to track good luck 💛

Keto isn't good for everyone, if you keep going up I suggest stopping it.

3 days??? stop looking at the scale for affirmation. just look in the mirror and you'll see small changes that add up. the scale is not the motivation, you are and results will come. stay positive

How many calories are you consuming daily? How much salt?

don't weigh for a month. Just pay attention to what you're eating. Read labels. It'll come off.

Keto will cause some crazy water swings in the beginning just wait it out. Don’t take the scale too seriously for the first three weeks. Remember to get your protein in and keep your carbs low and if you have excess fat to burn you do not need to consume all the extra fat in your diet. Hang in there. Stay active. Stay hydrated. You got this

I thought you were vegan earlier? Was that not working for you? You were making great progress. I am not a fan of keto myself but everyone has to find what works for them personally. Good luck to you!

Tracking calories and being honest is crucial. I looked at your food entries. There's days showing only 100 calories taken in? 200 calorie days? 400 calories? Several days like that are logged. Either you're not inputting everything or you're starving your body. Both are no good in trying to lose weight. I don't understand when people only log some food. It defeats the entire purpose of CICO. If you don't know how many calories you're taking in, how can you ever be in a true deficit? Also constantly changing diets will never give you the results you want. You have to pick something and stay with it long enough to see if it works for you.

Try a modified Keto, That's what I call it. Eat vegetables, proteins, good fats, occasionally very little carbs like 1/2 an apple w/2 tbls. of PB or with 2oz cheese for snack. Eat them in that order more veg than protein, more proteins than fats etc. drink water first before you eat, and first when your hungry. Eat until your satisfied, but stop when you feel good. Worked for me without really trying lost 25lbs in 2017. Be sure your not eating because of emotions, it never helps anyway, pray to God if you are and I guarantee you will feel better. Trying to get back on the wagon myself as it were, from my own emotional rollercoaster. Gods grace be with you.

Look up Dr. Kenny on YT. He has good tips for Keto diets. Ketovore diet may be a better option for you but it could take time.

I don't think 3 days is long enough to get any kind of results ....it took me more than a week to see anything happen when I started.

I totally agree with everything Joe Not Exotic says. There are quite a few people on FS who need to hear this, so I hope they're reading this too. All the best on your journey!
