Everything is just SO different and extremely difficult. we've been eating out a lot because we're too exhausted from work and dealing with him gone. Grief and loss can put so many challenges on us. We all have our own ways of dealing, habits of the past, and seeking comfort by any means is normal. I lost my father when I was three, and have never really been comforting in that area. The will thing is pretty rough, that's important, some families are difficult through that process, I hope this is not your case. Thanks for sharing this personal tragedy, and know things will turn to the positive once these are processed. It is life's challenges that essentially make us strong.

My deepest condolences. It's funny (not really) how we turn to old habits and comfort ourselves with food. I gained 50lbs when my dad died, lost most of it and regained it when my mom died. I hope you find your peace in the memories you have of him.

Thank you everyone. Means a lot. My sisters aren't super helpful with things and he lived with us the past 2 years so it's a huge hit to myself and my hubby. 😞

My deepest condolences!🥲 When I lost mine I felt lost and torn and support from other people, family, friends, internet, was all paramount for feeling less pain. I hope each entry here helped just a little bit and know that we are all touched and rooting for you

My warmest wishes for you and your family. You are doing all the right things Kiddo. You came to a good place to recover. It sounds like you know your way around so I will refrain from making all the introductions :) Tell us your story along the way. It is as good for yourself, as it is for all of us… we are all here for each other, especially when our journey is difficult. Stay Strong :) DV
