cstout30's Journal, 22 January 2015

I was up and down all week. It seemed like I had a stall moment between Monday and Wednesday. I finally was down to 252 again yesterday and finally got to 250. I followed my calorie intake and kept the fat intake under 50 grams. I am attempting to keep the protein amount grater than the fat intake.

That is great! Keep it up! As a single parent myself (of two girls lol!), I know the struggles and the desire to be a better role model! You got this!!

I find it fun to have the boys join me in the work out. It's a battle keeping them focused. If there were a camera rolling the first time I tried to do a "hip thrust" I thought it was a dance move. Sooooo my kids followed my lead. So there is a grown man and an 8 and 9 year old with their hands above their heads looking like its the night at the Roxbury. The look on my face when I googled the exercise. I'm keeping at it. Thanks for the moral support.

LOL! Yeah I love it when my oldest (almost 10) works out with me. I try to encourage her and correct her form but I figure as she gets older and if she continues doing it with me...she'll correct it herself. As of right now, she has fun just doing it with me. My other is too young (17 months) but she will try to do yoga with me. She loved doing downward facing dog lol! They are great motivators though. Always here for moral support! :D

By the way, I know how to do a proper hip thrust. I'm itching to get 5 more pounds off by next Friday so I don't think I'll be taking a day off this weekend.

I usually don't take a day off. Well I will take a day off from the Focus T25 but I make sure to do yoga on my off days.

Humans were meant for a day off. Take one. Not off your diet limits, but rest your muscles.

Lol! You know...funny enough...today has been a very off day for me and I haven't wanted to get up and do anything! I will make myself but yeah. :p
