Happy April Fools Day. We go up and down, don't we? My swings are bigger than yours. You say in your profile that maintenance is as hard as dieting. No, it has always been lots harder for me. I have been dieting most of my life and can go up 4 or 5 sizes a year, and then down the next year. I have never been able to "maintain" for very long. Last year I lost 20 lbs. This year I gained 15. Since I am shorter and smaller that makes a bigger difference on me. But in reading your profile I am encouraged. You are absolutely right: sweets and carbs are where it's at! I have given up sweets several times this last month or two. Today I am doing better since I'm on day 12, no sweets. You mention prayer on your Profile: that is the most important. The Lord loves you so much! There is nothing you can do to make Him love you more, or nothing you can do can make Him love you less because He "is" love!

Snowwhite, it turns out that I am TERRIBLE at maintenance. I'm maintaining around 150, but I could not hold onto the 135 to 140s. I am trying to get back there and take another shot at maintaining 140s. You are correct that the smaller your size, the more every little ounce shows! Thanks for the encouragement.
