Up a bit today. I'm okay with that. I had a weird drop yesterday, and decided to go to our favorite pizza place for a treat. We did okay, split a large salad and a small pizza, even left a couple of pieces. I had wine and a couple of vodka and sodas in the evening. Not going to lie, I felt a little treat would be okay and was aware it might take a day or two to recover. So, no regrets.

Today is a new day! The weird thing is that today I'm feel hungry more. When I'm on my 'regular diet', I eat well and am not hungry. So my little treat actually threw my system off track a bit for today. Nothing I can't recover from but it's a bit of an eye opener. I just don't feel as 'good'. Not sure if you guys experience that too?

Happy Sat.! I will likely brave this crazy cold we've had in NH and go for a nice walk later when the wind chill dies down. (It'll take me about 5 mins. to 'suit up')!

Interesting fact: Our Mt. Washington set a record for the coldest state in the history of U.S. meteorological reporting last night at -79 f and a wind chill of -109! It was 'only' -12 with -40 wind chill in my part of NH. Crazy stuff! Hope you are all staying warm. ❄

Yes! Quality ingredients equals better performance. My mechanic told me that years ago (referring to my car, of course) and it's funny how it totally applies to me too! Fortunately, the car doesn't have taste buds that enjoy pizza and popcorn and ... 🤣 Friends in Intervale, NH that are used to this didn't go out in it. Yes, I def. need better ingredients! Yeah I grew up in NH, I have the gear. We did a 2.3 mile walk. Was a bit slower w/the big, warm clothes! We're on the seacoast, it's a LOT colder in Intervale! Our friends up near there were throwing water into the air and watching it turn to snow this morning!

I feel hungrier the day after rich foods and a few drinks too. I just keep it to occasional and know I will get back. Sometimes a week later 😊 The way I look at it, we’re in it for the long haul and sometimes it’s worth the bump in the road

I heard about Mt Washington, that's amazing. Supposed to get up to a balmy 73° today here in the deep south. I definitely get hungrier when I get off plan, but sometimes it's okay to take a little break. Have a good week.

Yikes, to be throwing water into the air and it turns to snow brrrr... way too cold for me and I like cold N.E. weather!
