It's getting chilly around here so I have to figure out my new approach. I have been eating well. The greens are growing in the greenhouse and look like they'll be fine all winter. Its gotten down to 22 degrees but hopefully they'll be fine for that cold. So Kristin I'm eating my Kale too!
Down .4 so feeling fine. I need to start back with my 5:2 haven't been having my low cal days. Ya got to do it to do it.
love to all my buddies!

21F here this morning, which is damn cold for North Florida, especially in November. What kinds of greens are you growing? Mustards and collards are the most common around here, and I love both. It's just not fall/Thanksgiving without a big pot of greens and a cast iron skillet full of cornbread!

I'm in southern New Mexico Randy, and we are the lucky ones even at our freezing temps aren't we? I'm growing my favorites, which are Kale, swiss chard and spinach. We eat them somehow each day, usually sautéed with olive oil, but my sis, Kristin is putting Kale in her lunchtime smoothie which has helped her just recently hit her goal weight. Sadly, I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have allowed herself much of your yummy cornbread. I know I wouldn't have because I always want to smother it in butter and pure maple syrup. I'm sure you're much more reasonable than that. Good luck to you my friend.

That is almost as cold as we were today in Minnesota! Wow. Strange winter. I brought my stuff to go to the gym after work again today. Day two of this new system. I got a new card for the gym so I can go on my own and if I go early, I can watch Vacation Home for Free on HGTV during my workout. Sweeettt! My cleats were shipped today so pretty soon I can walk regardless of how slippery it is out there. Then it will just be the cold temps that might stop me. Otherwise, my back up plan is to head to the gym. I am so looking forward to next week as it is going to be a lot warmer!

I'm glad you mentioned my smoothies, kim, haven't had one all week! I am so glad for your fresh greens, wow, so inspirational on the gardening front...for next year. I've been getting my kale fresh, but I doubt it'll be available all winter. I'll probably have to switch to frozen. I don't mind using frozen fruit, so it will work out fine. Today, oatmeal, coffee, bean soup, lots of water, spaghetti & meat sauce, popcorn & triscuits with feta. No fresh fruits or veg today. 😕 walked at BB track about 1 mile and did yoga stretches at home, about a half hour. Fairly good day, got audit stuff done on schedule - deadline next Tues due to holiday. Getting ready for trip. 😊 love to my buddies!
