I am begaining to realize that I am a carb addict. I hate to see the pictures on this site because they trigger my addiction. When I am on a restrictive diet I end up obsessing about it, wondering how or where I will ultimately fail. I have failed so many times! I have been worried about Thanksgiving the whole time I have been on this diet (34 days) and I really need to control myself today like any other addict. I heard a doctor on youtube today that say that addicts dont get cheat days. I am greatful for this new insite and I will be working on myself and my emotional health as well as staying away from the addictive carbs.
262.0 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 123.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good morning. I completely understand what you are saying. I went cold turkey when I started and gave up all of my processed sugars. It took about a month for the cravings to subside. But I know I can’t slip. Good luck finding the balance that works for you and makes you happy

I am also a carb addicted. I started the optavia diet and my A1c has dropped and finally losing weight. I use fat secrets to monitor my food each day. they have such an awesome support group. I am now at the point. I am not tempted or want the carbs anymore.
