If your medication makes you gain weight, can you ask your doctor if there is another med you can take? Hang in there!

thanks kattay. i think part of the problem may be that i'm quitting smoking. thanks deb too. i do take a lot of meds that make me gain weight, but there is no alternative.

Wonderful quitting smoking! Awesome! A lot of people complain they gain weight after quitting. Major accomplishment just quitting. I am sure you have heard of gum chewing and doing crafty things with your hands and mind to keep them both busy concentrating on something other than cravings. So all I'm going to say is ((hugs)), I am rooting for you!! :)
