Oh gosh... I sort of maintained for two whole weeks and gained .6 lbs. I guess not stepping on the scale wasn't my problem. And, I did spend 22 hours painting this week and I organized Mom's closet and cleaned her bedroom as a surprise birthday present, which she loved! And today is her birthday so I have one more piece of yummy blueberry cheese cake tonight before I go back on my 5:2 days. I haven't been really walking yet and will be using the 'ache' gauge on my foot before I go too far. But the painting really does feel like exercise and my arms and upper body needed a work out too. I'm only half done over there and so will start up again tomorrow. I wouldn't say that I've exercised every day but we have been busy which is fun.
I grabbed my scale and am going to go to the other extreme now and weigh every day for a while just to make myself aware of cutting back. My eating has been so so. It could be much better.
It's so interesting to see how the self love affects everything. I've lost 12 pounds and have 18 to go. I can love that and move on. I think I've been just idling.
176.8 lb Lost so far: 9.2 lb.    Still to go: 7.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.2 lb a week

I was hesitant to join the two weeks without using the scale because I just felt like I need that reminder of what I'm trying to accomplish here. Although I think it's a great idea for some of us who can get a little OCD counting everything and might benefit most from some relaxation! Always good to try something like that, though, so you can let the rest of us know how it works and save us the trouble😁!
