navjot.pathak's Journal, 13 May 2022

I'm going to start weighing myself weekly to track my weight loss. I plan on being 135 lb by June 15th 2022. I've started taking saffron supplement 30mg daily as of yesterday to decrease appetite. Also, I'm going to abide by the Dr. Amen Brain Warrior diet he recommends. it involves eating a calorie restricted diet of 1200/daily, 5 to 10 fruits and veggies, no alcohol, regular 3 hours of exercise 6x a week. If I deviate from this plan, I'll do 100 push ups as a punishment for that day.
150.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 20.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sorry hun but if you’re looking at a 15 pound drop in 30 days and talking about how you’re going to punish yourself if you don’t follow your own arbitrary rules, you’re headed in the wrong direction. Be gentle with yourself, this is the long game. 💛

According to the WHO, 1200 cals a day is the border of semi-starvation. With caring and kindness, I would ask you to reduce your weight more slowly. You are already beautiful, your (slowly❤️) improving the ‘container’🤗☀️. With you all the way, kiddo!

please be careful, many fad diets are very hard on your body! you can calculate your own goals online using your height, weight, and age to get a healthier estimate. please don't harm yourself on your journey 💜

I do more or less the same thing. I'm more in the 1250 range. I also burn around 1800-1900 cals a day according to my Google fit app, just based on steps. I'm starting from 176 lbs going down to 132. Our journeys are so similar! I'm surprised with the comments. A 500-600 calory limit is widely suggested thoughout what I've read on the web. Why would it be unhealthy if it's so often recommended as well?!

i didn't follow a particular diet, and still had some alcohol and bad food for me, but in small amounts. I'm quite active at work, I just kept my calories down between 1200-1500 a day with lots of salads and tried to stay away from the more processed foods. i was 300lbs in August last year, and I'm under 200 now. You got this!

500-600??? I don't know who's suggesting that but please, when you're dieting, make sure you use official sources 💜 you eat too little and you'll harm your body.

any weight loss program that includes punishment as a consequence for missing a goal is way off track...life is short so treat your soul and body well and they in turn will perform for you...
