I knew it was a bad idea, but the Oreos were calling to me. They said, just have one of us, that won't put you over your RDI. But I couldn't stop at one... it snowballed into two handfuls.

No sense in beating myself up after the fact, though. It won't change the amount of oreos I inhaled. :P

That sweet, delicious sugar rush was nice in the morning, but it’s leaving me hungry now and lunch doesn’t come until 12:45...

I’m armed with gum, water, and tea. I AM going to eat right the rest of the day. I can do this!

That's the bad thing about a sugar rush, it comes and goes and then you feel hungry and lethargic. At least that's what it does to me. Oreos = trouble, I came home a few days ago and there was half a bag in the trash, the other half were mysteriously gone but I think my wife might know where they went. :) I'm just glad she had them hidden from me, otherwise there probably wouldn't have been any left to throw away. Oreos and a glass of milk are a deadly combination. Anway...as you said don't beat yourself up, the rest of the day is yours to command!

I wonder if you could have the OREO if you also chased each one with a good protein source like a boiled egg.

That's why you throw them in a shake with a a cup of milk, a cup and a half of ice and 1/4 cup cold coffee. All the things you need in a breakfast. :)

Ha, ha, thanks guys! My issue is, I cannot stop eating them long enough to chase it with an egg or even throw it in the blender... they are just too tempting for my taste buds! Normally I pack one oreo a day in my lunch and I'm good, because I can't reach for another one. :P It was just something about this morning, my taste buds wanted something sweet and I foolishly obliged.

Fine here is plan B.... Somehow you need to sabotage your sense of smell so nothing tastes irresistible. Then you can imagine all your greens taste like an Oreo. Also if seeing is believing you better get really good at eating with your eyes closed as well! :)
