The Blue Box's Journal, 12 June 2014

Ugh, stepping on the scale this morning was a slap in the face, but I knew it was coming. I entertained family all last week. My mother thinks I’m too thin and that I’m starving myself, so she made sure that I finished my plate every time we ate.

Ugh, I feel sluggish. That could be TOM, but I have a feeling that it’s the added weight as well.

I need to go shopping and get some healthy food in the house. As it stands right now, I’m eating peanut butter and tortilla sandwiches for lunch, instead of my normal assortment of fruits, veggies, beans, and quinoa. There is just not enough time in the day to get everything done, so I think shopping won't occur until Saturday.

Oh well, I had a blast while they were down and I wouldn’t change anything about the trip! We that’s not true, I wish they could have stayed for a longer amount of time! :D

have you found any alternatives for the ice cream? I found I am liking frozen healthy choice blueberry or raspberry yogurt, it's yummy. Don't care for the other choices though.

I am addicted to ice cream and cannot find a good alternative. :) I just try to manage how much I eat via portion control. Although, blended frozen bananas are a good alternative.
