My highest weight ever, minus pregnancies. My mental health has suffered since turning 40-midlife crisis I suppose. I avoid gatherings when possible because I’m ashamed of all the weight I’ve gained in a short time. I have self diagnosed myself as having binge eating disorder and have had it for most of my adult life. I’m hoping to find a therapist to help me create a healthy relationship with food. Right now I’ve set goals and written them down to help me get started on this journey-again. I cannot keep living this way, it’s ruining my relationships because I’m always irritable. Ultimately when I eat like crap I feel like crap and treat my family like crap. I got up today ready to take a step in the right direction…so here I go again!
