toolmannc1's Journal, 06 February 2014

Well Super Bowl Sunday did me a bit. I was down to 241.4 because I had begun my workout program. I knew I had gained a bit because we went out to eat for my youngest son's birthday and the we had had wings etc. for the game. I did continue to workout so I guess it did help because I must have lost most of the weight I gained by working out. I just wished the results would have been larger but at least I did not gain for the week so I have to stay positive. I plan to get in two cardio workouts in today.
241.0 lb Lost so far: 25.0 lb.    Still to go: 41.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Hey Toolman. Remember its a marathon, not a sprint. Even more correctly its a cross-country run. Its going to take time and there will be detours and minor delays, but YOU will GET THERE! Stay positive and be tenacious. Bumps in the road mean nothing to FS warriors!

Thanks for the support. You are right. I coached for many years and I told myself the same thing as the season went on. I always stayed positive and would improve on the gains I saw in my players. I guess I need to "coach" myself now. LOL I will get there and like you said it takes time. Everything I've read has said a pound to two a week loss will in the log run stand a better chance of remaining off. Hope things are good in Texas. I know parts of Texas in having a cold front come through but I guess you are used to it being from Colorado. Once again thanks for the support!
