Change my mind, change my schedule, change my routine, change my body, change my life:)

After Dinner Mary and I went to the gym and enjoyed 45 minutes of constant lap swimming and 15 minutes of sitting in the hot tub. I mainly kicked my legs and feet using the water weights to propel my arms underwater and did approximately 5 laps of the standard swimming stroke. I came home and started feeling a wonderful wave of swimming induced tiredness come over me and slept like a log. For those of you who may have trouble sleeping this may indeed help because upon waking up, every muscle and joint in my body feels less tension and feels regenerated from yesterday's running with the kids and Tuesday's stairmaster workout.

Tonight I will try my very first body pump class! I have been talking about incorporating some weight training into my routine and tonight I will make it happen. My core muscles are still soft and I would love to build muscle here so that my posture improves because I still have a tendacy of slumping over. It is like I am still sitting when I stand up lol...not very pretty:)

Wow you are doing great. Looks like all my buddies are doing so well. Please let me know about the Body Pump class. I think Kate explained it to me before but it really sounds like something I would like. I want a blow by blow account of it...lol

Swimming is so wonderful. I wish I had a pool in my backyard. Although I suck at it, I love swimming and don't like to be seen doing it. My daughter has asked if I'd be up for snorkeling in La Jolla, but I am so terrified of sharks -- I don't think I can handle it. I am not as adventurous as I should be. Enjoy that Body Pump, Lisa!

QUADRUPLE LIKE LIKE!!! Had to follow Pixidaisy hehehe :) Swimming has to be one of the best overall full body cardio exercises if your constantly moving. Making me think of going to gym and swim too! Tonight I will try my very first body pump class! I have been talking about incorporating some weight training into my routine and tonight I will make it happen. My core muscles are still soft and I would love to build muscle here so that my posture improves because I still have a tendacy of slumping over. It is like I am still sitting when I stand up lol...not very pretty:) You will be sore for a few days after body pump but its normal and will dissipate after a while or may be not... no pain, no gain!!! :D LMAO Cathy!!! TOWANDA!!! Ok I still don't do it as well as you do but still hehehe
