ReneefromLA's Journal, 18 February 2014

This is the weight that I came back from LA with. It's not surprising, considering that it's the goal of all of my friends and family to get me fed and liquored up as much as possible while I'm there. I ate so much good food. I came back to MN with some serious hunger issues since my body got used to eating that much (it takes a day for my body to get used to more calories and a month to get used to less calories!). So I've been trying to eat under 1,800-2,000 calories a day for now and working out regularly (my goal is 5 times per week for at least 30 minutes). I'll slowly lower my calorie intake so I don't get headaches or too tired. I'm also trying to cut out added sugar. The last few days the only added sugar I've been having has been in coffee creamer (which I'm not giving up anytime soon) and flavored Greek yogurt. I may, next time I go grocery shopping, buy plain Greek yogurt and add fruit to it. It all depends on what looks good at the grocery store at that time (I'm picky about dates when it comes to meat and dairy!)
