245.6 lb Lost so far: 25.4 lb.    Still to go: 55.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hi David, welcome to Fat Secret. We have an amazing group of people here and if you need more help, I can recommend some great buddies for you as support. I started this site weighing about 165 or so and have lost about 30#, trying for about 7 more pounds. I am on line almost everyday, so feel free to log on and send me a note. We have all agreed that tho you may need to diet to lose the weight, it is a lifetime journey and you will always have to be aware of what you eat. At our age, (I am older) it is even more important to be healthy so we CAN be here for our kids and to give quality to the years we still plan on hanging around. Welcome aboard, and my diet plan was no diet. Just cut back in quantity, stay away from too many sweets and pastas (both of which I love) and move. Gotta move a lot. Exercise helps us a lot. I have problems exercising, some because of arthritis, others because of laziness. But, still gotta try. Don't talk the talk unless you plan on the walk. Glad to have you as a buddy. :-)
