The weigh in good week, bad week is so frustrating. Why can't it just be consistent.

Tonight is dinner in a restaurant. Something I have not done since October. Not looking forward to tomorrow's weight.
150.5 lb Lost so far: 26.5 lb.    Still to go: 35.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

When I eat out at a restaurant I order fish quite often and portabello mushroom burgers without cheese and fattening sauces instead of hamburgers and I make it a point to eat only one half of each item and take the other half home for lunch the following day. I have even been known to only eat 1/3 of the meal (the larger meals) and take the leftovers home for one to two meals. In addition I always ask for the salad dressing on the side and only use 1/3 to 1/2 on my salad. Another trick I learned which I'm sure you've heard about is to drink a full glass of water prior to the meal. the other thing that kills my appetite is to have an alcoholic beverage before the meal. I hope these suggestions help you tonight. I am just beginning my journey and I joined this forum just yesterday. So I am reaching out for ideas, as well, because I am struggling. {{{hugs}}} Linda
