Wow! Even eating as little as am I right now, I'm still not losing weight every single day. Interesting. Yesterday, it didn't feel right to force myself to eat until I reached 1650 calories. I felt satiated at the time and so I just went to bed like that. It is possible that the vegetable soup I've eaten has more calories than the ones logged so that's a possible explanation. Maybe I've eaten more calories than I think. I've noticed that sweet cravings get a lot worse when I'm sleepy, for me at least.

edit: It turns out that, not only was the vegetable soup probably logged with less calories than it actually had, I had also forgot to log some cheese I ate earlier in the day lol.

edit: I just found out I've made a huge calorie logging mistake with the soup. I had forgotten about the chickpeas in it :P lol

edit: I'm realizing that, although the intense sugar cravings really test my resolve, the thing that worries me more is that, psychologically speaking, it feels like such a great loss to not eat sweets any more. I feel like I'm missing out on a good part of life, despite the fact that it's also a really unhealthy part of life lol. This is what worries me more and, if I eventually give up, it will probably be because of this. I'm not sure that I want to. It's a problem. I mean, my rational self definitely wants to stop eating sweets but... :P

I have changed my RDI to 1500 calories because it has been outdated for some time now and this is my new limit for the time being just to make sure my weight doesn't go up again. :)

133.2 lb Lost so far: 11.0 lb.    Still to go: 9.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

When you are already at a low weight and don't have much left to lose, it can be harder and take longer to get it off. A half a pound to a pound a week is normal. So if you are losing more than that, you are doing pretty darned good.

Don't worry about how fast you lower Ninaj! As long as you lower, that's what important because, if you look at it, when we finish, when we get to our goal weight, we can't stop doing what we're doing (eating less). We will probably be able to add like 100 or 200 calories extra to maintain our weight but probably not much more than that I'm thinking :)

Yeah, we have been eating sweets since we are kids (I'm guessing in your case but I'm probably right, right? heheh). It is a custom that is rooted in our routines, even in our social habits perhaps. It's very complicated to go about in a society where everyone is eating these things and just ignoring it I think.

Its a hard thought to think that to maintain(when we get there) we would be on reduced calorie diets for life.
07 Jan 14 by member: njashka8
Don't worry about that! I got it exactly as you are explaining right now ;) Anyway, even if you were a sugar addict, I couldn't blame you because I've been a sugar addict for a long time lol and still am unfortunately :P Thank you very much for the incentive! :) Yes, it's definitely a hard thought. I guess that, our stomachs slowly decreasing in size will help this somewhat as we will feel fuller faster. Some changes to the diet can also make you feel much fuller on the same exact number of calories. But these chances would have to be respected permanently lol :P
