larilyn's Journal, 01 April 2021

I hit 130 lbs this morning. I can't believe my eyes. That's down exactly 100 lbs from my highest weight of 230 in the spring of 2019 (I didn't even record the weight on FS because I was so distressed, but I wrote it in a journal).

I've been lifting weights the entire journey, so I'm feeling good about summer, swimsuits, and sleeveless things.

Now to resist the chocolate Easter eggs!

The difference between a diet and a lifestyle change is that a diet has an end. A lifestyle change has to be sustainable day in and day out for as long as you want to continue to keep your weight under control. That is why you have to develop a way of eating that you enjoy., You can’t live with deprivation— never being able to eat a chocolate chip cookie again is not in my plan. I applaud you for having a developed a successful plan for yourself. You must be very proud.

Wow that is so amazing! I personally have hit my highest weight ever. 224 pounds. I’m starting my weight loss journey and my goal weight is 130 pounds. It makes me feel better seeing someone in similar shoes be successful!
