Wrote a lenghty journal that got wiped out before I was able to save it. Oh, well, my rantings got recorded somewhere in the universe and will forever disturb information exchange between a couple of planets in another galaxy.

Anyway, the damage is less than I expected, but I am back at 170 and in red, while I would prefer to be at least half a pound lighter just from a psychological perspective. I need to get over this barrier.

I plan to cook this weekend so that I do not have this issue with not having any homemade meals next weak. I want to be bellow 170 before the year end. I can do it. The candy/cookie swap in the office began early this year. I already have two boxes of chocolates on my desk. It is not much of a temptation as I usually do not feel the urge to eat them immediately, but as the boxes start piling, I start feeling irritated, as it is a total waist of money and calories, and regifting that much chocolate becomes a problem as everybody else at work has same boxes piling. I do end up eating at least some, and usually do not eat much candy till next holiday season.

It is sunny again, and the rain is over, but it is cold. Well, yes, it is cold only when compared to our usually balmy weather, but I am so not used to it. I have a full yard of leaves after the storm, and I was like, what, where did they come from? These are supposed to be evergreens, why do I have yellow leaves everywhere? Guess this will be my exercise for today.

170.0 lb Lost so far: 28.0 lb.    Still to go: 16.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

The office is such a difficult place to navigate this time of the year. I'm using the weather as an excuse to work form home but it does give me the add benefit of not having to deal with all that temptation. You've done well not diving into all those chocolates.
