Hi there Lilsmurf. There is a whole lot you can do in that 7 weeks, but I do know from experience that it can be hard to find the will or focus when you've been away from home. I also understand how hard it is to stick to your guns when you aren't able to prepare your own meals. I do freelance work on yachts and when I'm not required to cook I have to eat what the chef prepares (oh boo-hoo, right?) or if I'm the one cooking I have to prepare meals for the guests and guess what? none of them want "diet" food when they're on vacation and I also cook for a hard working crew who need calories just to make it through 14-16 hour days.
Sorry about rambling on about myself, but I just wanted to let you know that I understand where you're coming from and sometimes when you have an unusual job it's hard to get other people to "get it".
Good luck!
