back down a pound but i feel like im retaining water. leaving today on a unplaned trip with lots of templations as if getting threw the holidays wasn't enough I will try to be strong and keep my will power in place. I will think of all you who are doing so well and how you will leave me in the dust if im not very dedicated I'm taking my computer so will try to keep up my food journal. I should take my scale with me that would keep me in line.

will you be gone a long time? or do you have any ideas on where you will be staying...hotel vs someone's home...lots of great tips available for traveling. Takes a little bit of time and effort to really get this way of eating ingrained in your head...but YOU CAN DO THIS! Best of luck to you...and great motivation on taking the laptop and continuing to log your food. That will help a lot.

Not sure what foods will be available to you...but you can eat eggs, meat, salad, and some veggies...and perhaps you could take with you a small cooler (lunchbox) with a few things you KNOW you can have...to keep in your room incase you get hungry. And don't forget your water. That will help you throughout the day to think clearly when choosing. Alot of hotels can accommodate people w/ 'no added sugar' because of Diabetes, etc...so don't be afraid to ask if you don't see anything you think will work. A plain grilled chicken breast cut up over a salad will do in a pinch (skip the croutons!) Hope you have a good time! And YES keep up with your tracking...that will keep it right in front of you. If you can...put it in first...then you can adjust if you find something is crazy high! Good luck.
