Happy New Year, everyone! A new year, a time to recommit to my life, my health, my growth. To begin, I plan in resuming daily journaling and recording all food/drink again, and soon I'll be able to work out again. Well, 19 more days, but who's counting?

Okay, so my weight is up by three pounds from my lowest. That doesn't thrill me, but I'm no longer afraid of it. Tomorrow I start fresh and am seriously considering the 17 Day Diet. Written by a doctor, all boring but healthy food, but it's also designed for detoxing the junk/sugars/chemicals from your system. The idea is to clean it all out, follow the plan for 17 days and then there are two more cycles that can be followed before the maintenance. But if the diet works as proposed, I would only need the one cycle. I would love to get to 120 before starting to work out again. Then when I put on muscle weight, I can stay under my goal weight.

This year is going to be awesome, I feel it! I think we are all in for some major changes in our lives and definitely on the road toward better health. Last year my goal was to lose weight and get healthy. This year my focus will be more in the health aspect. I want to learn to prepare great, healthy foods that taste good, cut way back on packaged crap and have this. Evoke our way of life.

I'm so thankful for all of you great friends I've been blessed with over this past year. I honestly don't know that I would have succeeded in my weight loss without all of the love and support and encouragement from you wonderful people! <3 <3 <3
125.0 lb Lost so far: 50.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Happy happy New Year!!! I still got the buzz in my ear LOL Good show on the resuming of daily journaling and if you don't me gonna hunt you down hehehehe just kidding buddy! WOW! 19 more days to go... I got that in my calender! :) I applaud you of facing the fear head on... Weight gain is just that weight gain and unless you know how much fat you got and how much muscle weight means very little and glad your not sweating it NOW if you were heavier as in 200-300lbs then yes it may be a different story lol. I tried a similar diet withe great success and your right that if you go under your weight now then build muscle to a healthy point your in much better position physique wise. OH come vanity is in there some where too LOL Heres to a healthy, happy redwinelover!

I may need you to hunt me down! Lol.... The one thing I do feel good about is that I'm still at my goal weight...that's a plus. Oh, and yes- vanity definitely plays into it! Ha ha ha...

Ok so I got my watch dog eyes out then... Go get em buddy! That is a big plus but even if you were 5 or so lbs above you would be an excellent position too. Vanity? Its all about vanity now lol

RWL, I was thinking about all you have accomplished in the year 2010 and thought you had an Amazing 2010. I know for sure your 2011 is going to be Absolutley Amazing!!!! TOWANDA!!!!!!

Youngbug.... you will. You really will. A year is a long time, plenty of time for growth and learning and changing. And besides, you are already amazing and you've conquered what I feel is the most important component of this whole thing - exercise! And thank YOU, youngbug, for being such a positive force on this site! So many of us look forward to reading your journals or hearing comments on our own because you always make it seem possible, likely, a for sure thing. You're sweet on top of it!

Oh dear RWL, you must be reading my mind. Or mabye my PM's...lol. And I'm trying, though I may stumble sometimes, I get back up. And thanks, you always know just the thing to say to get a smile (or a laugh) out of me. I did something crazy I haven't told anyone til now. DOn't you feel honored for it to be on your page? I signed up for the Indianapolis Mini Marathon. YIKES!

Happy New Year RWL ~ I got myself into gear this morning! Have picked up about 4 pounds, but also changed my goal to 125. Sooooo, I have my work cut out for me. Have been really sick this month, but that isn't stopping me from pushing ahead. We can all do this as a team. I don't want to be where I was once before ever again. So the only way to stop that is to stop the mindless eating. I promised myself I would start today, and today it is. Have a great day, and we will stay on the right road!
