my wife and I are doing this weight loss thing together and I feel bad. I don't want to tell her how much I have lost this week.
200.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 30.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

don't it's discouraging sometimes as men lose quicker then woman.

Aww sorry to hear that just tell her not to give up her time will come it's just the extra hormones and water retention this has happend to my husband and I before so now we do the process seperalty as a womans diet should be very different to a mans diet and the workouts as well it is far more complex than just motivation and support.
