I had three or four pints of beer last night. They were wonderful, but I'll probably need four days to make up for that binge. Oh well, it sure was fun ;)

I've never been able to correlate short-term (water) weight gain to beer. More often, it's when I consume added food WITH the beer, so that my next morning isn't as bad as beer alone might make it!

If I drank four pints of Black Butte Porter (yum), that would have been 1,000 calories, which should have led to a weight gain of 5 oz or 0.13 kg. (So I drank 64 weight oz of beer, and only peed 59 weight oz back out. Huh.) Three days later I am actually up by that much, although that amount is well within the usual daily weight fluctuations.
