Lisa Online's Journal, 20 October 2010

INCHING MY WAY slowly but steadily towards the time when I dance upon the blue line brings me happiness! Today I will note all the things that brought joy into my day. My buddies and this journal are my greatest support as I make my journey into my Golden Years I am striving and thriving to bask in the sunlight of life each and every gifted day that I have on this beautiful earth home of ours.

Goodbye smooch from my husband as he left for work, hug from my 11 year old and her showing great independence by getting her homework done w/o nagging from me, Running laps with the K-6 graders today, sunshine, my friends Carl, Wayne, Ron at the gym, (Carl is one of the most consistant members, he has the mentality of a 10 year old but the heart of an angel, Wayne is a retired Marine, 71 who I just met and is recovering from an accident, Ron rides his bicycle for miles and is very dedicated as well) cutting roses from the garden and making a beautiful bouquet, visiting my dad and seeing he is recovering from a small eye growth operation very well and being gifted a beautiful handmade quilt that his girlfriend Sue made special for my birthday , clothes and bra fitting well, sleeping well, facebook as it has brought my extended family and many lifetime friends together in a miraculous way, it was a very nice Wednesday work day, music playing as I worked, I am learning to seek peace and to find joy in each day and it really helps your emotional health when you stop sweating the small stuff and are kind to yourself and others. TOWANDA!!!!!


152.5 lb Lost so far: 40.5 lb.    Still to go: 17.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Love your new pic! BTW nice way to start the day. ;-) Roses in mid October...and a great tan....only in California. I'm sorry I've been distracted and away, but I'm going to enjoy catching up on journals/comments this morning...so keep reading backwards if you get a chance. ;-) It sounds like you had a birthday!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!
