I bought the book "Fast Diet" and I am really excited about it. It is all about being healthy and not just slim and trim (which is what we all yearn for)..... Women "fast" two days a week (sort of) on 500 calories and men 600 calories. The book and content was so motivating!
171.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I started calorie counting diet in 2/1/2011 after being 220 lbs for about 15 years. Found the best way for me was to write down in a composition book every thing I ate or drank for a week and was shocked at the amount of food (quite a bit of junk) I ate.The next week I thought about every item I would have to write down &made better choices.
