Ok, so I've exercised every day for 2 weeks solid and haven't lost a pound...how does that work!!?? I also learned that you have to burn 3500 calories to lose 1 lb. That was depressing news!! I do feel better and my clothes seem looser. I just gotta keep on keeping on!!!
245.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 45.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Give yourself some time!!! Be encouraged, some loose gradually, others will have a substantial drop after a few weeks......It's one day at a time.

Sometimes when you exercise a lot, you see fat loss before you see the scale move. I had a friend who didn't see the scale move for months but she went down 4 sizes. Also, if you are new to exercise, your muscles retain water which can show on the scale as no loss. The scale is only one way to show weight loss success. The way your clothes fit is another. You can be at a low weight and still carry too much unhealthy fat. Just keep going, it will all balance out.

Remember that muscle weighs more than fat. I know that the first time I was doing this "weight loss" thing. I went through a period where I was exercising, dropping inches in my waist and rear end, but the scale just wasn't moving. Turns out I was building muscle definition in my legs and arms. Then after several weeks the scale started moving again. I lost 86 pounds and kept it off 2 years before a health problem put me on steroids. I am on my way back to healthy and slim again. You can do this!
