Enough was enough. My quarantine started with me losing my job and my grandfather passing. I was stress eating, over eating, making desserts every night (cookies, brownies, pies) drinking way too much alcohol for about 2 weeks. Then I really decided in this time “off” it’s time to focus. There is no excuses !! I have time to exercise, time to cook my own meals, time to work on myself. As much as there is stress, financial pressure, and all while grieving - I need to take this time to better myself in all aspects. I want to come out of this “quarantine” a better me. My starting weight this Monday was 207.8- today on Thursday I’m 201.8 that’s 6 lbs in 4 days. This was all by just stopping my unhealthy, binge, overeating habits. I’m drinking water and trying to keep my calories around 1500. I’m lowering carb intake - drinking more water. Haven’t fully got into the swing of using my weights at home- but definitely been taking at least 2 walks a day (a light jog some distance) going back to basics. Slow and steady!! Happy my mindset feels right at this time. Last week i couldn’t say the same!! Continuing to push !

Mrendaa1_ More often than not it takes a life changing event for the "light to go on" in our lives. You can either drown yourself in unhealthy habits or take this time to make a change. Some people will continue to self medicate with food and drink during these times and the strong will reflect that the bad habits are not the answer. Your post and words tell me you are going to put yourself on a healthy track for years to come. Slow and steady making changes you can commit to is the key to success.. All the best to you on your journey !
