Star_Glow's Journal, 18 August 2010

So the alternate day diet seems to be working so far. I am back down to within 2 pounds of my last spray weight. I think I can do this for a while. I want to at least get to my LSW and then maybe I will loose a few more in between eating "events" coming up...lol.
160.0 lb Lost so far: 3.4 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 18 August 2010:
2000 kcal Fat: 55.27g | Prot: 95.25g | Carb: 114.50g.   more...
losing 11.9 lb a week

I find I am at a bit of a loss when I don't enter in all of my foods...Strange feeling, but in keeping with my alternate day rules I need to avoid counting calories on my up days in order to relearn a good relationship to food!

Hey Star! You may want to consider writing your calories on your up days for just a couple of days so you have an idea of how many caloriesyou are running on those days. Then you may have an idea of how much is too much. It's totally up to you! Obviously you understand what you are trying to do a lot better than I do. This diet totally make sense to me, though because it may constantly keep your metabolism up. I have heard that your body shouldn't get in a rut with the same amound of calories for too long. Good luck with what ever you decide Buddy!! :D Ellie

Thanks Trixi and Ellie! And I am moderately keeping track of my food on my up days but since I don't want to be counting calories and keeping a list of every food I eat forever I am trying out this method. I may still do another half round of hcg before the holidays. I just haven't decided yet. Also on the up side my metabolism is running higher now. I really do thing the rounds of HCG helped with that immensely. I have been taking my basal body temp every morning under my arm to track my metabolism and underarm normal temp is 97.8 F and the last week or so mine has been running a consistent 98 F which is totally awesome!!!! Some very interesting information on metabolism and diets can be found here: http://180degreehealth.blogspot.com/
