Finally bought a scale and wasnt too thrilled about what it said once I stepped on it. 230 lbs. Its a start right? it can only go down from here. I know I was 235lbs when I started but i wasnt sure since I didnt wieght before I started my diet, OH well, onward
230.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 70.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Redgirl, you now have a proper starting point. Everything will be relative to this point, and without it you are working blindfolded. Well done biting the bullet and getting on that scale. As you say, it can only be improvements from here on... let's make sure it IS! You can do it!
