vinnyv11's Journal, 26 July 2010

Kind of a little down on myself right now (even though I know its my fault). I kind of feel like I set myself up for disappointment this week by setting expectations. I went into the weigh-in thinking there is no way I don't lose at least 3 pounds and that getting under 200 by next week should be easy. This is because I absolutely kicked my exercise and eating into over gear this past week. I worked out close to double what I normally do and was low on calories every day (14K calorie deficit). I know all the normal rationales for the lack of significant loss like maybe your holding water, maybe you developed muscle, it's only a number, etc. I know this in my head but for some reason I feel like I wasted my time with the extra working out. I don't want to be negative just where my heads at and having a hard time motivating myself to have a desire to go the gym tonight already.

On a positive note I saw some friends this weekend which I hadn't seen since January and they all commented about how much weight i'd lost so thats something I suppose.

Milestones:
2.5 lbs - Under 200 for the first time in forever
11.2 lbs - No longer obese ever again
22.8 lbs - 75% to goal and COLOR CHANGE!!!!!
43.1 lbs – According to BMI I will be considered in the normal range
202.4 lb Lost so far: 66.1 lb.    Still to go: 52.4 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Even though you don't want to go to the gym tonight, I bet you'll feel good about yourself after you go. It's frustrating not to meet your own expectations, but hopefully it'll give you incentive to keep going. You're so close! You can do it! :)

Hey Vin, you lost over 2 lbs! That's a big deal, especially in a week. I know how you are feeling, it's gonna come off, don't let the scale give you a mindf***, and I'll try to do the same on my end. It's gonna feel great to be under 200 :D
