Another pound down. Almost back down to my LSW which is where I started messing up! Looks like basically I am doing this half round as a do-over...Anyway I am working it and after this half round I am going to give myself a break with the 6 weeks of phase 3. Hopefully it will go better the 3rd time than it did the 2nd time. The first phase 3 even though I had a hard time figuring out the number of calories and the amount of protein went very well. Hopefully with the knowledge about my body and how it reacts to food I will do much much better on this next phase 3. Either way I am still really pleased with my results especially since I have been able to keep releasing the weight even past my previous plateau point!


My tip for entering phase 3....Learned the hard way!!! Follow phase 3 protocol as well as you followed phase 2 protocol. It is important to start phase 3 off well. For the first day or so the HCG will still be in your system so you will need to stick to 500-800 calories and stick to p2 only foods. After that, for a day or so I suggest you only do phase 2 foods but in triple or 4 times the quantity making sure you eat at least 1500 or more calories in p2 foods (4 p2 meals per day works really well for that). Have a p2 meal for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack!!! Only add in 1 "new" food per day so you can listen to your body and find out which new foods your body does really well with. If you add in too many "new" things all at once you will not know which food caused a problem (read that weight gain). Stay far away from starches and sugars in the first 3 weeks of phase 3 or you will end up doing a steak day for sure and it may trigger a bit of a bounce-back binge if you are inclined to that kind of thing like I am. I suggest you also keep your protein level above 30% to avoid protein edema in the first few weeks of phase 3. This is really important since your body has been existing on a very low protein amount during phase 2. One of the first foods I added back in was almonds since they are dense in healthy calories and very small in volume. Make sure you get in your total calories for the day and after the first day or so of phase 3 after the injections or homeopathic dose make sure you don't eat less than 1500 calories ever or you will gain weight. Also stay far far away from "fat free" foods since they usually contain extra sugar and other chemicals to replace the fat. Instead eat healthy fats like olive oil, avocados, nuts, real salad dressing, butter, cheese, and even mayonnaise (homemade mayo with olive oil is really fabulous and easy).
160.4 lb Lost so far: 12.2 lb.    Still to go: 25.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
