Good morning, Fatsecret!

It's been two days now, being back on track after vacation and all. I take the liberty of counting Sunday in there, as I tracked all foods, and did well, even if I didn't plan on really getting going until Monday. No need to wait, right?

Today, I'm up 300 grams. I did great through the entire day yesterday, and even skipped on a few pre-planned snacks. I had no need for them, so just skipped them. it was a nice feeling, to save the calories and not have any trouble doing it at all.

I think I was dehydrated yesterday. I woke up thirsty yesterday, and it followed me all day. I kept drinking water, and I think this is essentially where the gain came from.

I'm in no way concerned about the gain. I did what I was supposed to do, stuck with it, had fewer calories than expected. There's a weight loss in that somewhere. It'll show.

I have something like 3½ months to make it to goal, and I need to lose something like 100 grams per day on average. I can do that. I like that I have time to reach goal, with no rushing, but not enough time that I can really slack. I think this is a comfortable space for me to be in.

Yesterday I was teaching my weight loss class again. I really like hanging with this gang, they're doing so well. There are 8 that are truly following through, and they have now lost 65 kilos! That's something like 135 lbs! They set an initial goal of 70 kilos, and I am sure they're gonna make it - they have the rest of the month to do it - and mind, this goal was set by the full 11 people team. I am so proud of them.

Yesterday, they had such great communication, I barely had to intervene, other than commenting like a part of the group. I love it.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- The new focus. Again.
- Morning coffee.
- A solid night's sleep.
- Rockin' with the kids tonight.

Thanks for the solidarity statements!! MUCH appreciated! Your 3.5 months to reach goal, is that for some sort of doc appointed weigh in? a follow up from your surgery? Just curious... Wishing success buddy!!
