I'm back!

After getting bored with calorie counting for awhile, I kept my soccer and gym routine up quite well, working out about 4 times a week and not really watching what I ate much at all. I was pretty satisfied with the weight staying where it was because the exercise made me feel good and my clothes fit. I'm also in a new relationship, which is always a confidence boost. Then I broke my foot playing soccer and was forbidden by the doctor to do any of my normal activities until it healed. Which took 8 weeks. Injuries are SO frustrating for an active person like me.

Then I went on a longtime planned trip to Europe for 2 weeks (bread, cheese, pasta, repeat). Then it took me a week to adjust back to normal working life, although I did play soccer twice a week for a couple weeks. And NOW I'm ready to go back to the gym. Today's the day. I don't know if I will be strictly counting calories but I do know I want to try to lose some weight again and tracking my activity level will help.

171.0 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 26.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sorry to hear about your foot. That sounds painful and frustrating. It's awesome that you have kept yourself active as much as you could. Have a great workout at the gym.
