I couldn't believe the scale this morning. 3x it said 189.0! 3X!!! yes! I'm under 190 - finally. I guess it was February 2012 I weighed in at 188, not as long as I thought, but I'm happy.
I tried to give up the Dew completely, but failed. However i am definitely improving on how much I drink and switching it up with other drinks. I think part of the reason is that I want to be able to have a Coke when I go out to eat, or on our road trips and vacations, etc. So unless I get told that my blood sugar is too high, that things are no longer working properly, moderation is my goal.
With this "plan" in mind, I think I'm losing the recommended 1-pound a week. I'm ok with that. My measurements haven't changed, but my stomach and gut feel different, it's hard to explain.
Anyway, I'm happy with the 189.0. I need to work on keeping it no higher than that now, with the goal to continue going down. And I need to get back into my walking program - period or not!
