Good morning fat smasher friends!! What a great weekend. I participated in a contest for a chance to sing with 5 broadway stars. It was on a whim that I participated at all being that my voice coach didn't tell me about it till literally the night before everything was due. I was suppose to make a 90-120 second video of myself singing a broadway show tune, however, like I said, I found out about all of this at the last minute...sooooo, I decided to just send them a link to my myspace page which has my demo songs on it...even though it wasn't a video, at least they could hear me sing and of course there's a picture of me on there. Lo and behold, I was one of 3 chosen out of 300. I sang at the opera house in Galveston, TX. It was pretty cool. I got to talk to all of the stars and ask questions about how they all got their start.

As of my diet, it's still doing great! As you can see, I lost another 2 lbs. My hubby is doing great too!! He lost another 2 lbs. also. We both went to Bally's last night and I swam 20 laps and he did 25 laps. It felt so good to be back in the pool. I used to swim laps almost every morning, but due to the time I have to be at work, I didn't have time to do it. I also went to boxing on Friday night and got an excellent workout. I felt so great afterwards. I highly recommend it to everyone!!

I'm going to boxing tonight and ready to kick more butt...mine, that is. :)

145.0 lb Lost so far: 15.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
