whoa. No loss, 211.2 still!!

Dammit, lol. And, I found out last night my weight loss line thingy was GREEN on my birthday. I have to get back to 205.8 and the GREEN again. It was so depressing to see this a few days after and gaining from over-indulgence. lol

Yesterday I ate a lot better, except for KFC sandwich for lunch. We went to the mall because our house is overrun with Indian laborers. They are painting the house at the wife's request. Just so happens it coincides with my 5 day weekend. They are occupying most of our daytime living spaces, so we bolted.

KFC? you may ask. Well, in this culture they sure dont have baked chicken (at KFC), and all the healthier local fare does not open until noon, so I had a choice of KFC, McD's, or Krispy Kreme. I did not eat many of my fries at all, and took off half my bread.

I tell you obesity rates here are going to surpass the US very quickly. I think 5 of the top 10 countries are in the middle east, and considering fast food is only like a 10-20 year old concept here, thats bad. They have no self control at all, the heat makes for very little activity. Its a bad combo.

Just rode the bike for 13.6 miles. I did the in-town loop mid traffic hours. Seen all the kiddies heading off to school. I am thinking of training for a centure ride (100 miles). I was thinking of it yesterday evening, I have a pretty good setup for it. I know a good 25 mile lap that would take my by the house every couple hours to restock on fluids, eat, rest, and get back at it.

So, that means bumping long rides up 5 miles a week! I can do this. I did a 33 back a while back when a noob. Now my 25's dont hurt at all. So I think this week I will kick it up to 30, then 35, etc. etc.

I am concerned about this week, and all these days off. I need to make some chicken and veggies today. I finally threw away the cake this AM. This is after asking the family to eat of dispose of it for the last 36 hours (Anger!!). Kids "Oh, I will eat it later", wife "I will give it to the painters". Enough already.

Anyway, off to study Sociology. Learn some more names for all my character defects.

did you ever try the potato filled Indian Samosas that are sold fresh & hot every morning over there? When I visited relatves six years ago I couldn't get enough of them! My husband would walk the two blocks to pick some up for breakfast. So addictive & so fatty. Thank goodness they are not available to me all the time. :)

I have had samosas a few times, but not breakfast time ones. Interesting. Probably not good for diet, but maybe after a long bike ride. I do like the hot bread.

Don't forget the sleeveless shirt; even out that farmer's tan, lol. I planned on doing that before trip to DC, but haven't & am leaving Friday. Oh well, probably won't swim much. You'll be back in the green in no time. I gave up drinking in 1986 & don't miss it at all, thank goodness. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself, threw away the cake, etc. Burn of any residual anger on a bike ride & cook some good food. Smile, laugh, enjoy life. (I'm gonna take my own advice; going to Zumba this a.m.)
