Up a bit from cheat day to 212.2

Is this a number I hate? Hmmm. I forget, so thats good!

Early yesterday was fully documented in yesterdays journal about my Flat Tire, and breakfast. So lets begin with lunch.

After all the AM Drama, I was generally lazy and watched TV all day with my daughter. We had plans for a semi-late dinner for us (630, lol). We ended up being out til around 9! Holy cow we are old now!

I took her to base while on a mission for a presta/schrader valve adapter (more will be revealed) and while there got her a fried chicken sandwich and me a bacon cheeseburger. I was still full for breakfast, so I kind of ate out of consideration for her, and it was about lunchtime.

I realized then how much I used to eat "just because" or from boredom. I stuffed a bacon cheeseburger and fries in my guts just because, and it was not hard, but I felt overly full! I like to feel emptier and more hunger today, that is what works. I know now feeling hungry is normal, and I dont need to fight that feeling away 24*7. Leads to obesity I think, lol. Some dumbass should fund a waste of time study on that.

Kind of like "eating fruits and vegetables is better than eating candy" studies people like to post. Like some genius just figured that out. Yet another thing about FS that pisses me off.

In my gold standard book "The Obvious Diet" he goes into that. We all basically know what makes us fat (Candy, Fries) at a very young age, we just dont practice that. Laziness, easiness whatever gets in the way.

Anyhow, off my soapbox and back to my day...

Last night we did our 1st Iftar dinner buffet since being in Bahrain/Middle East. It basically is the lighter of the two meals served in the evening, think of it as breaking the fast. It was a feast of middle eastern food (hummus, flatbread, chicken, lamb, rice). Not much of it was unhealthy, but I ate a lot. They had some delicious ice cream, and there was a sweet pudding dish (I am bad with names), but it was like sweet oatmeal. Anyway, we went with a few other couples and had a good time. Got home late, drank some diet soda's so we could burp, and chowed down on my wifes hidden combo's supply.

She is a closet snacker, and wonders why she is not losing weight, lol. God forbid I should offer any advice. So working out all week, and closet snacking is not working. Calorie Counting and FS does. I win!! XD

212.2 lb Lost so far: 56.8 lb.    Still to go: 27.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
