Damn :-(
Scale going the wrong way...
170.0 lb Lost so far: 20.0 lb.    Still to go: 40.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 4.2 lb a week

From checking your weight history, I noticed that you've been waffling back and forth over the same 5 lbs for about 5 months. I had a similar stall that I finally broke out of round about May. What I discovered was that Weight Watchers only worked for me when I had a lot to lose. The closer I got to my goal, the slower the weight came off until it just stopped. Even their new 2012 plan that had you lower your daily points didn't help for long. So what I'm saying is, if it isn't working for you, you have to do something different. Work in the lifestyle changes that will support your goals. Try to change the habits that contributed to your gain. Stick with it and you WILL see the scale go the RIGHT way :)

I actually went up 2 pounds last weigh in. I hadn't been doing anything "bad" so I'm hoping it was water fluctuation. I'll find out next week. It's hard not to get down over a gain, but they happen sometimes for reasons we don't always understand. Try not to be discouraged. Losing weight and getting healthier will probably be one of the hardest things you ever do, but so worthwhile in the end. Remember your Buddies are here for you. :)

I feel for you Gallimh, don't have any answers, but wanted you to know I'm thinking about you and believe you can break this slump. Don't give up!
