Hurray, my weigh in bailed me out of a jam! 212.0

Been having lots of stressy crappy issues in life, and a bad attitude. Somehow cosmically I feel they all tie together. Yesterday I decided, screw it, I am gonna be happy and let these problems roll on.

They just kept coming, email from company cutting my childs school allowance. This will cost me a few thousand a year out of pocket. Mind you this is in a country we now have to stay in after dark, and molytovs and tire fires burn in the streets like a mile from my house. No worries mate! Why am I here again? lol

I looked forward longingly for my bike ride all day, my escape, my stress relief. Had a bit of a problem finding ipod before ride, then I was on my way. Got a flat! lol Luckily it was a slow leak so I was able to pump it up twice and make it home. That and the humiliation of having an Indian Rent-A-Cop pass me on what looked like PeeWee Hermans bike kinds ruined my bike ride too, lol Later I changed the tire, and popped the new tube doing it.

At this point these "problems" are making me laugh (Except the money stuff). It will all work out I am sure, and in a few months I will wonder what was up. I am so grateful for my weight loss journey, and my friends here.

Looking at Ramadan in a week. Usually that is hunker down at the house, eat and have indoor parties. This time it will be very islamic. We will be focusing on our diet (not fasting though, lol), and out exercise until it is over. Should be good. For the most part, except being unable to eat out in daytime, it does not effect us much at all. Except the long sleeve issue in 110 degree heat, but that is another story.

Boy, I sound so whiney, lol

Have a great day y'all. It is my Friday as I am off Fri-Sun each week. So life is getting better already.

WOW! You are doing great in your journey...I'm still stumbling, kind of sabotaging myself for some reason? Anyway, I hope you work through your issues and keep up the great work on your weight loss! I'm jealous, but mostly for your self control...Later.

I am sure you will be fine Madjak. As you can see (or maybe not) it took several starts at the fatsecret thing for me. The 3rd time was the charm (or the 6th, who knows!). I do know that summertime is the roughest time, and I am sure it is especially tough in your climate, when you only have a few months to enjoy outdoors, BBQ, biking & most importantly beer.

Great job on the weight loss. I'm impressed, as impressed as I am about your tire changing activities. So tell me about the iPod? Do you really use it while you ride? If I tried that in NYC, I'd be in the hospital in no time flat. Sorry about the cuts to your childs school allowance. That sucks. Thank goodness for cycling, right? What a great stress reliever.

Sounds like things aren't so rosy out there. Hopefully all will be better once Ramadan comes to an end. Maybe you can make good and drop a few more pounds that month, since you can't do the usual at lunch time for a while! As you say, it will all work itself out.
