I am beginning to hate 214.

Saw 212.8 for one day, and now cant see it again! XD

Yesterday did not go well diet wise, it was my 1st 5 days off in a row. I did my bike ride, ate my breaky, and then we went shopping to the hardware store and the mall (around the island). At the mall we had a sub, fries, and then a Krispy Kreme!!! Luckily only 1. Dinner was more sensible, actually I dont remember eating dinner. Hmmm... Oh yeah, that was at the 4th of July party, Burger and Dog.... FML.

My arms have been hurting, mainly my hands. My pinky on right hand has been pins and needles for about a week. So much so it is affecting my grip, and ability to pickup things and write too. The left one too. There is a problem with biking (Handlebar Palsy) that causes this. The odd thing is I rode for a few months without problems, and now I am really in bad shape. I did adjust my seat and handlebars a little today so we will see how that goes.

The problem is I know i am getting a new bike soon (When I hit 200 lbs, if ever...) so I dont want to spend much money on stuff for this current bike. I can buy handlebar and grips though, and they transfer over. That is one part on my new bike that will likely be "cheap" and need upgrading.

Well, I have stuff to do, chicken to cook. Much better diet day today so far. So we will see. Tomorrow is the big party we have setup for the 4th, combined with a friends house warming. So it will be fun. Hopefully after that I can be on my diet routine until Aug 31! My birthday, and also when I want that bike! lol

Plus we have Ramadan coming up, that will help with the old diet. lol

/Cheers, JP

A very easy way to lower the craving for food and eat less during a meal is to drink a full glass of water 15 mins before eating or at the start of cooking. then go for a walk after eating, doesnt have to be far or fast paced. just a simple 10 min walk to get the blood flowing, curve the spike of insulin in the blood and release serotonin.

Keep the faith, my friend!! This plateau shall pass! Adding to what Thunder said above, chew some gum, as well. That aids in digestion as it keeps the digestive enzymes in your saliva flowing! I swear it works--too many times have I had a too-full belly after a meal or a little heartburn... I chew a piece of gum (preferably NOT minty), and BAM... taken care of! It may take a little longer to relieve a full belly feeling, but it does help. Have you tried adding yoga to your regimen? It could help the pins/needles by getting the blood flowing to the extremities. I also find it helps digestion, too! Good luck!!
